This passive solar house has a south glass to floor area ratio of about 15%.   Even with that high percentage of south facing glass this house stays very comfortable.  The high mass & super glazing help minimize temperature swings.   I have lived in this house for 14 years & can say from personal experience that it is a true pleasure to live in a home that is flooded with daylight,  heats up when the sun is out  & stores that heat even in sub zero weather.
