Our approach to design is pragmatic. We learn from success. Many of our inspirations are historic, simply because historic planning patterns have worked so well. This does not mean that our designs are retro attempts to re-create the past. We are designing communities for the future. A good example is our innovative use of protected solar envelopes within the context of a traditional streetscape to create a community which is truly special both in form and function. We employ the use of customized form-based codes to ensure that both the 2-D plan and the third dimension of architecture work together to create the desired result. The synergistic results can be truly exhilarating.
